Friendship Class

Saint Mark has had an ongoing ministry to its Special People for many years. The students look forward to their Friendship Class at 9:30 AM and attending worship at 11:00 AM.

Our Friendship Ministry helps people with mental impairments come to know and love God. The students experience the joy of knowing they are of value to God and to God’s people. The students also grow in their understanding of God’s world and their place in it. And they grow in relationship with the church, making a public profession of faith and participating in the church’s life and work. Also our church grows in acceptance of and love for persons with mental impairments. These are indeed Special People.
